What, where, how?
The main profile of the Handball Cup (Kézilabda kupa) website can be deduced from its name: displaying matches, statistical data and events of the Champions League, Europa League, European Cup and Hungarian Cup. In addition, we also deal with the matches of the European Championships, World Championships and Olympic Championships, as well as the NB I (K&H Handball League) on a smaller processing level.
When designing the image and structure of the website, we tried to make what you see on the screen transparent. The displayed content will not be new to frequent internet users, but we will nevertheless provide some guidance on what, where and how to find it.
HOME PAGE (FŐOLDAL)
– In the upper left corner of the image there is the inscription European Handball Association (Európai Kézilabda Szövetség), which functions as a banner; clicking on it will open the association's website in a new window.
– In the upper right corner of the image there is the inscription Hungarian Handball Association (Magyar Kézilabda Szövetség), which functions as a banner; clicking on it will open the association's website in a new window.
– Around the boxes of the Home Page (Főoldal), on the left and right sides, the logos of the teams participating in the Champions League (Bajnokok Ligája) and the Hungarian First Division Championship (NB I), and at the bottom the advertisements of certain institutions (ehfTV, kezitortenelem.hu, etc.) serve as banners; clicking on it will open the current content in a new window.
– Within the Home Page (Főoldal), the individual boxes announce the results
of the matches related to the cups. Naturally, by clicking on the COMMENT (KOMMENT) and MORE (BŐVEBBEN) headings, you can proceed to the comment page, as well as to the coverage and the minutes of the given match. By clicking on the image depicting a television between the names
of the two competing teams, you can receive information about the broadcast of the individual sports channels.
– By clicking on the team pairing and result listed in the wide boxes, the minutes of the match can be accessed.
– By clicking on the NEWS (HÍRMONDÓ) heading at the top of the Home Page (Főoldal), you can read the current events of the handball in written form.
For most of the news, after activating the More (Bővebben) button, you can read detailed information on the given topic.
– In the rotating field marked with the „NEW!” inscription under the NEWS box, we provide information about the outstanding result achieved by a Hungarian team (CLICK HERE).
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE (BAJNOKOK LIGÁJA)
– The tabs that open naturally follow the order of the series.
At the end of the tabs that open next to the Women's (Női) and Men's (Férfi) inscriptions (for example, WOMEN (NŐI), Group matches (Csoportmérkőzések), Semi-finals (Középdöntők), Quarter-finals (Negyeddöntők), Final Four) you can find the list of participating Teams (Csapatok), as well as the Goal Scorer List (Góllövőlista), Yellow Cards (Sárga lapok), Expulsion 2’ (Kiállítás), Expulsion 3x2’ (Kizárás), Permanent Expulsion (Végleges kiállítás), and the statistical data of the REFEREES (JÁTÉKVEZETŐK).
– In accordance with the schedule, by clicking on the groups (csoportok), rounds (fordulók), eighth finals (nyolcaddöntők), quarter-finals (negyeddöntők), etc. tabs, the interface that opens contains the names of the teams and the results of the matches played.
– By clicking on the Team (Csapat) button next to the names of the clubs, you can read the club data, the list of players and the matches the club has played so far in the series. By clicking on the name of any player in the list, you can find the handball player’s up-to-date individual data and his performance
in the cup.
– By clicking on the Match minutes >> (A mérkőzés jegyzőkönyve >>) line under the results of the matches, you can open the full minutes of the match, the current table and in the case of Hungarian Champions League teams and featured matches, the result table. For the matches of Hungarian teams, by clicking on the team names in the REACTIONS (REAKCIÓK) field below the table, you can read the coverage and statement published on the website of the current team.

HUNGARIAN CUP (MAGYAR KUPA)
– The match results of the five rounds of the women's and men's series are published in wide boxes, where the match minutes can be accessed by clicking on the pairing of the teams and the result. However, we publish detailed match minutes and coverage of the final four of both genders
(see Champions League).
NB I
– Since the first division of the Hungarian championship is not part of the website's profile, we only provide news about the matches for information purposes. We publish the results from round to round in wide boxes, where
the match minutes can be accessed by clicking on the pairing of the teams
and the result.
– By clicking on the Women’s (Női) and Men’s (Férfi) tabs, we have displayed
the results of the 26th round of the K&H Handball League (the playoffs for men).
By clicking on the results of each match, you can read the minutes of the match. At the beginning of the page, under the heading TABLE – GOALKEEPER LIST (TABELLA – GÓLLÖVŐLISTA), you can study the current standings.
– The website also offers a new feature: we have launched a “new cup series, mini championship” called the Hungarian Cup Teams Cup (Magyar Kupacsapatok Kupája – MKK) (for more information, see the Women’s (Női)
and Men’s (Férfi) MKK menu item. Based on the NB I matches, we will look
at how the Hungarian cup players performing on the international stage fare against each other. The results of the participating teams in each round are indicated in italics.
MEDIA + TV
– Under the Television and ehfTV tabs, we provide information about the broadcast of matches.
SEARCH (KERESÉS)
– Here, we intend to search for teams, players, coaches, matches and results. We also provide information about the Birthday, the Oldest, the Youngest, the Shortest, the Tallest and the players who scored at least 10 goals in a match.
ARCHIVE (ARCHÍV)
– By clicking on the date of each season, you can search for what happened in that season.
